Touchdown! That's a really cool way of putting it!
Saludos!
All my books are once again on a ship right now ... I read John Donahue's weird book on the trial narrative in Mark (1971ish) years ago and I'm wondering if that was where I first read about the idea of sarcasm in 15.39. I remember thinking about it around the time I read that book and it wasn't any of the authors above who brought it to my attention.
on I really like your writing style, fantastic information, regards for posting . « Every moment of one’s existence one is growing into more or retreating into less. » by Norman Mailer.
"When I leave my home in coastal California - rich white folks, poor Hispanic workers - I get a jolt."I'm sure you're not the only one. "... hush-puppies (WTF?) and edamame. Edamame is considered 'exotic' in white America."So an American dish like hushpuppies is a WTF thing for you but you marvel that a Japanese dish seems exotic to Americans in America. You and "coastal" California deserve each other.
I love this post. I never brought books to parties in college because I never went to parties. But there were more than a few gatherings I went to where I would try and find the nearest book or magazine to rescue me!
“It is believed that the seven male suspects we wish to speak to had been involved in an English Defence League demonstration at Bolton earlier that day. They began to make racist chants as they left the train, before taunting a member of rail staff. The suspects continued to make racist remarks and threatening behaviour towards the victim, a white male.” He added that the suspect had “made a major mistake of identity”…
I really appreciate free, succinct, reliable data like this.
Whenever I read such comments, I imagine the anonymous person must be about thirteen years old (especially when they're so inarticulately written!). I love the sheen of that khaki combo, especially.
